Welcome to Julia Pars.com
My name is Julia Pars and I am besides my job as manager of the Greenland Cultural Centre also a visual artist. I was born in 1968 in Ilulissat, Greenland. I've visited two different art schools in Denmark and I have had exhibitions in The Nordic Countries, including Greenland, where I live and work.
I have a throrough knowledge of Greenlandic culture and art and I am a member of the Association of Artists in Greenland KIMIK. I'm represented in the book "Contemporary artists in Greenland" published by Danish-Greenlandic Cultural Foundation and written by Camilla Augustinus, 2005.
I've worked with ilustrations, decorations, post stamps, advisory consultancy but mostly I take part in group and solo exhibitions.

Mit navn er Julia Pars og jeg er, ved siden af mit arbejde som direktør for Grønlands Kulturhus, også billedkunstner. Jeg blev født i 1968 i Ilulissat, Grønland. Jeg har gået på 2 forskellige kunstskoler i DK og har udstillet i Norden, herunder Grønland, hvor jeg bor og arbejder.
Jeg har et godt kendskab til grønlandsk kultur og kunst og er medlem af kunstnerforeningen KIMIK. Jeg er desuden repræsenteret i bogen " Grønlandske Nutidskunstnere" udgivet af Dansk-Grønlandsk Kulturfond, skrevet af Camilla Augustinus, 2005.
Jeg har arbejdet med illustrationer, udsmykningsopgaver, frimærker, konsulentopgaver og udstiller løbende malerier på gruppeudstillinger eller separatudstillinger.
